Thousands of Muslims in the Mississauga/Oakville area are struggling with overcrowded prayer spaces, especially during Ramadan, Eid, and Friday prayers, often forced to pray outside or drive long distances.

Families also face long waitlists for Islamic schools, with a growing need for more spaces where children can learn, grow, and strengthen their faith.

To make matters worse, 1 in 4 families in the community are in desperate need of expanded relief services to access food, resources, and essential support.
