For over two decades (since 2000), DawaNet has been blessed to serve the local community’s needs through a variety of creative and unique initiatives. As the Canadian Muslim community continues to grow, so do our needs. The demand for safe and welcoming spaces designed to serve the evolving needs of the community has never been greater.
DawaNet is actively working to establish one such space within the West GTA community to grow our essential programming.
The Centre will serve as an Islamic Centre, Community Hub, Food Bank, Prayer Facility and so much more (God Willing).

With the grace of Allah (swt), the number of Muslims in Canada is expected to double by 2030, reaching over 2.7 million people.
The growing number of Canadian Muslims means a higher demand for Islamic Centres and prayer spaces, especially in the West GTA area. This is where the highest need is and where many Muslims are choosing to call home.
DawaNet urgently requires a larger space to operate and be able to better meet the community’s needs in the West GTA area.
With your generosity, the DawaNet Centre will serve as a Masjid, a Learning & Development Centre, host Community Events, Recreation Hall, Food Bank, Hot Meals Kitchen, Workspace, and more.

Available locations in the West GTA area range between $12 – $15 million. With your support, we hope to raise the initial amount required of $2.5 million within the next 12 months and acquire a suitable space.
